Jacob Prunuske, M.D. has been appointed as the new Chair of Family Medicine for Sanford School of Medicine at the University of South Dakota. Dr. Prunuske will begin his duties in this role in late June. Dr. Prunuske is currently the Assistant Dean for clinical learning and professor of family and community medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin – Central Wisconsin. He completed his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and his residency and fellowship training in family medicine at the University of Utah. Dr. Prunuske’s research interests focus on family medicine and public health education. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has maintained a family medicine clinical practice. Read more.
