AGB SEARCH ANNOUNCES RECENT LEADERSHIP APPOINTMENTS

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 20, 2022 – AGB Search, a national leader in higher education executive search, is pleased to announce the following recent appointments:

Blackburn College has appointed Sarah Mouch as the new vice president for administration and finance. Mouch is currently the chief financial officer at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio, a role she has held since 2018.

California State University, Los Angeles, has announced the appointment of Stephen M. Trzaskoma as its new dean of the College of Arts and Letters, to begin August 1st. Trzaskoma currently serves as the director for the Center for the Humanities at the University of New Hampshire.

Carroll University has appointed Paul Zinck as its next vice president for finance and administration. Zinck most recently served as vice chancellor for finance and administration at St. Louis Community College. Read more.

Carroll University has selected Mohammed I.T. Bey as its inaugural vice president for institutional inclusion. Bey was previously the chief officer for diversity, equity and inclusion at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College. Read more.

Carroll University has selected Kevin Trainor as the next dean of the School of Business. Trainor previously served at Northern Arizona University as a professor of marketing in the W.A. Franke College of Business, in addition to other leadership roles in the university.

Colorado State University has announced the appointment of Brendan Hanlon as its new vice president for university operations and chief financial officer, to begin August 1st. Hanlon served most recently as the deputy mayor and chief financial officer for the City of Denver. Read more.

The Community College of Philadelphia has announced the appointment of Alycia Marshall as vice president for academic and student success. Marshall previously served as the associate vice president for learning and academic affairs at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC). Read more.

Delaware Valley University has announced the appointment of Curtis M. Topper as the new vice president for finance and administration. Topper is currently serving as secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of General Services. Read more.

Emmanuel College has appointed Mary K. Boyd as its 13th president. Boyd previously served as provost at Berry College, and as the dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of San Diego. Read more.

Emporia State University announced the appointment of Kenneth Hush as the university’s 18th president, effective immediately. Hush has been serving as interim president of ESU since November 2021. Read more.

George Mason University has appointed Ken Turchi as assistant dean for strategic communications and marketing of the Antonin Scalia Law School. Turchi joins George Mason after serving as assistant dean of communications and administration at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.

Marist College has announced the appointment of Will Lamb as the new dean of the School of Management. Lamb currently serves as dean of graduate and adult learner recruitment for EAB, Inc., a provider of educational research, marketing and consulting services. Read more.

Marshall B. Ketchum University has selected Julie A. Schornack as the university’s second president. Schornack most recently served as senior vice president and chief of staff at MBKU, in addition to other roles she has held over 30 years with the university. Read more.

Mayville State University has announced the appointment of Brian Huschle as its new vice president for academic affairs. Huschle currently serves as vice president of academic and student affairs at Northland Community and Technical College. Read more.

Mayville State University has announced the appointment of Amber Hill as its new vice president for business affairs, to begin in August. Hill currently serves as the director for financial services/controller at Northland Pioneer College. Read more.

Misericordia University has appointed John Woznicki as the new dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. Previously, Woznicki served as dean of graduate and professional studies at Delaware Valley University.

Misericordia University has appointed James J. Pierson as dean of the College of Business. Pierson was previously chair, MBA program director, and assistant professor in the business and entrepreneurship department at Chatham University.

Northampton Community College has selected David Ruth as its fifth president. Ruth is a senior leader with over 25 years as a progressive higher education professional and has served as the vice president and chief of staff at NCC for the past six years. Read more.

Northern Kentucky University has named Jeremy Alltop as the new vice president for administration and finance. Alltop comes to NKU from Lamar University, where he served as vice president of finance and operations/chief financial and operating officer. Read more.

Point Park University has announced the appointment of Andrew Clayton Hughey as general counsel, to begin August 8th. Hughey is currently serving as vice president and general counsel at Ohio Northern University.

Point Park University has announced the appointment of Julie Cryser as the new vice president of university advancement. Cryser joins the Point Park community from Pierpont Community and Technical College, where she was vice president for institutional advancement and foundation director.

The University of the District of Columbia has named Sharon Beasley as the university’s new director of nursing education, to begin August 1st. Beasley joins UDC from the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), where she has served as a director since 2015.

The University of New England has selected Kevin Gillan as its next associate vice president of accounting, reporting and treasury. Gillan was previously a business banking finance manager at TD Bank.
