California State University Channel Islands (CSUCI) has appointed Richard Yao as its fourth president. Yao had served as the interim president of CSUCI since January 2021. Read more.

Cleveland State University has selected Richard Schoephoerster as the new dean of the Washkewicz College of Engineering. Schoephoerster was previously dean of the College of Engineering at the American University of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates. Read more.

Durham Technical Community College has announced the appointment of Jerry Jones as the director of the Center for Workforce Engagement. Prior to his appointment, Jones served as director of career services and workforce development at Pitt Community College. Read more.

Durham Technical Community College has appointed Susan Bowen as its new vice president and chief campus operations officer. Bowen was recently associate vice president for information technology and chief information officer at the University of Scranton. Read more.

The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) has selected Marie Garvin as its chief financial officer. Previously, Garvin served as chief financial officer for Food & Water Watch, a national advocacy organization. Read more.

SUNY-Erie Community College (ECC) has appointed David Balkin as its twelfth president. Balkin was formerly the chancellor of the South Bend-Elkhart campus of Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana. Read more.

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign announced the appointment of Shari Mickey-Boggs as senior associate chancellor for human resources. Mickey-Boggs currently serves as chief human resources officer and secretary to the board of trustees for Wright State University. Read more.
