Baylor University has appointed David Cortes as its next associate vice president of development. Cortes most recently served as Baylor’s assistant vice president of development and foundation relations.
Elon University has named Rebecca Kohn as its new provost and vice president of academic affairs. Kohn comes to Elon University after serving as dean of arts and sciences and senior vice provost at Arcadia University. Read more.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University has appointed Kelly Dowling as its senior vice president for philanthropy and alumni engagement. Dowling has served as assistant vice president for advancement at SUNY-Stony Brook since 2016. Read more.
Missouri Valley College has named Joseph Parisi as its 14th president. Parisi is a MVC alumnus currently serving as vice president for enrollment management and athletics at Central Methodist University. Read more.
Northern New Mexico College has selected Hector Balderas as the college’s next president. Balderas previously served two terms as New Mexico Attorney General. Read more.
San Francisco State University has appointed Stefan Amrine as its next senior director of corporate and foundation relations. Amrine previously served as director of corporate and foundation relations at Holy Names University.
San José State University announced the appointment of Cynthia Teniente-Matson as its next president. Teniente-Matson currently serves as president of Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Read more.
The University at Buffalo Foundation has selected Patrick Richey as its new chief financial officer. Richey previously served as the senior vice president for finance and administration at Nazareth College.
