Thomas Kowalik, Ed.D., joined AGB Search in 2017. He has over 30 years of leadership experience in adult and continuing education. Previously at Binghamton University (SUNY), he was founding director for continuing education and outreach, which serves more than 11,000 graduate, undergraduate, and noncredit students annually. While at Binghamton, he was a campus leader in collaboration, program development, strategic planning, creative management, budgeting, and finance.
Dr. Kowalik is past president, and current board member, of the Coalition of Lifelong Learning Organization; past president of the University Professional and Continuing Education Association; and founding member of the State University of New York Association of Summer Sessions and SUNY Continuing Educational Collaborative.
Dr. Kowalik has acted a consultant for a wide variety of international, national, regional, and local organizations and has received numerous state, regional, and national awards for leadership, program development, and research. He is a member of the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame.
Dr. Kowalik earned his BA in music education from Alfred University, his ME.d. in counseling from the University of Miami, and his Ed.D. in adult education from Syracuse University.
